Being a family-run business since 1996, we know just how important the community is, and how important it is to be a part of the community. Our goal has always been to provide the best barbeque in town and over the years the community has shown us the support we needed to create a thriving business. So when the opportunity knocks for us to give back to our community, we answer the door with open arms.
During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, we partnered with Rodney Mayo and his Subculture Restaurant Group’s non-profit, Hospitality Helping Hands (H3), to help our local restaurant staff members who were laid off. Not only did we help to cook and distribute more than 500,000 meals to our local community members, we also provided much needed hope that we can get through this, and we will get through this, as long as we stick together.
The Troy’s team will always do what we can to give back to the community that has helped the restaurant and family grow over the years. We know we’re all in this together, and joining together is how we create change.
